Independent Mountain Men of Pennsylvania, Inc.

Welcome to the Independent Mountain Men (IMM). The IMM is a living history organization dedicated to the preservation of American history – in particular the skills, knowledge, arts & crafts of the American frontier period from approximately 1750 to 1840. Our American nation and core heritage was forged in the fires of this time period. The IMM’s mission is to preserve this unique heritage, history, and culture. To these ends, the IMM is an historical re-enacting, black powder shooting, and outdoors sports club. We are a fraternity that practices historical events including, camping, shooting, hunting, trekking, re-enacting and other similar activities. The IMM is chartered with the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association (NMLRA). The club owns nearly 400 acres in Emlenton PA, where we hold regular functions such as monthly shoots, hunts, and various historical activities and gatherings.
